A great ride!

I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for coming out and riding saturday - it was a beautiful day and everyone seemed to have a great time. And hopefully we didn't lose anyone in our accidental merge with the City Cycle ride getting on the bridge! I didn't even see them coming until it was too late.

This is Team Bad Ass's third year, and this was our most successful kick-off ever! We had over 25 people crowding Sam's, and we even managed to pay the entire $425 bill for breakfast!

Track this wednesday

We're going to kick into gear immediately with track practice this wednesday. We'll meet at the usual time, 6:30pm, at the usual location, Kezar Stadium, in the usual spot, the northeast side of the track.

For those of you new to Team Bad Ass, track can be a very a fun experience. Since we're mostly running around and around the track, we are able to more or less stick together during the workout. Even when people are running different speeds, we try to regroup regularly. There's even an occasional trip to Kezar.

Laurence has been our track coach as of late, keeping the tradition alive even in the cold wet winter, so when you get to track you can either ask around for him or me.

More track details (including answers to such famous questions as "What the heck are triathletes doing at a track?") on the way..
